Hamburgers, hot dogs, wings, nachos, quesadilla, philly sub, fried mushrooms, cold beer, all the time with Karaoke and fried fish and shrimp on Fridays. Locally owned and a must after a long day on the lake. Not fancy but fits Lake Park perfectly!
This place must be under new ownership as it is not closed. We were visiting family and had some of the best hot dogs ever. Coney Island dogs aside, this places rocks a good dog!
OMG - the bar was rocking when we got there, live music with the singer belting out "Son of a Preacher Man". Fabulous voice. And what was great is that there are two sections - in case you're not in the mood for the live music scene. The chef made me the best ahi tuna I've ever had - and I've eaten in plenty of five star restaurants. Fabulous sauce over it, with some shrimp and holy cow the veggies were to die for. I can't recommend this hidden gem enough. Seriously, if you live in the area, get your butt over there for some great food and a fabulous atmosphere. Sadly it's closed on Sundays and Mondays.
I frequent this place for the food. I get cravings for their hamburger wrap and nothing else will do. Ya'll! I you don't know what a hamburger wrap is, you need to. Slap some of that Don Sauce on that baby and you will be in tastebud heaven. Their ranch is the bomb too. The fried mushrooms are a great extra, but make sure they cool off a little before you bite into one. They are served fresh out of the grease. When I am there, I just feel like I am on vacation at the beach. It has that vibe. We don't drink, but I still feel welcome. There is a bar, but their Diet Coke is my drink of choice. Now, I have talked myself into going there for lunch.
